By creating a store on Buylib, you agree to sell only products and services you have the legal right to sell, and to comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Buylib charges a commission on each sale made through your store, as configured for your account.
Payments are processed through third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal). You are responsible for complying with those providers' own terms.
You may not use Buylib to sell illegal goods or services, infringe on intellectual property, or engage in fraudulent activity. This includes (non-exhaustively): counterfeit goods, stolen goods, weapons, drugs or drug paraphernalia where illegal, content that sexualizes minors, content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark without authorization, and any product or service prohibited by the laws applicable to you or your buyers.
Buylib is a technology platform that lets independent sellers list and sell their own products and services. Buylib is not a party to the sale itself, does not manufacture, own, inspect, or ship any product listed by a seller, and is not the seller of record for any transaction. Each store on Buylib is operated independently by its owner.
For physical products and services, the seller is solely responsible for shipping or fulfilling the order, providing accurate tracking information, and the condition and legality of what they sell. Buylib does not guarantee delivery, delivery times, or the condition of items sent, and does not hold, inspect, or handle any physical goods sold through the platform.
If you are a consumer buying from within the EU/EEA, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal after your purchase. For digital content delivered immediately (e.g. a file you can download right away), this right is lost as soon as delivery begins, provided the seller obtained your prior express consent to immediate delivery and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose your withdrawal right — sellers are responsible for collecting this confirmation before fulfilling this type of order. For physical goods and services, statutory withdrawal and consumer-protection rules apply as normal. Beyond this, each seller sets and is responsible for their own refund policy for their own store; Buylib does not itself issue refunds, but a seller can refund an order directly through their Stripe or PayPal dashboard.
Buylib does not hold buyer funds in escrow; payments are sent directly between buyer and seller through Stripe or PayPal. If an order isn't delivered or doesn't match its description, buyers should first contact the seller, and if unresolved, open a dispute directly with their payment provider — PayPal's Resolution Center for PayPal payments, or their own bank or card issuer for card payments processed via Stripe. Buylib is not able to reverse, guarantee, or adjudicate these payments directly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buylib is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from a transaction between a buyer and a seller, including non-delivery, late delivery, or a product not matching its description. Buylib's role is limited to providing the technology that lets sellers operate their own stores.
Buylib may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or pose a risk to buyers or to the platform. A seller may close their own store at any time; outstanding obligations to buyers for orders already placed remain the seller's responsibility.
[PLACEHOLDER — à faire valider par un juriste] These terms are governed by the laws of [your country/jurisdiction], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the buyer's own country of residence where applicable.
